Our LocationFranz Josef Glacier Country Retreat is located in 5 minutes from Franz Josef village, the heart of the Glacier Country region on New Zealand's West Coast, part of a World Heritage area.DIRECTIONS: If Traveling from South - Wanaka on State Highway 6 - (approximately 3 1/2 hours drive) . Drive 5 minutes north (approx 6 km) of Franz Josef village. Just past Potters creek turn right into first large entrance on the right hand side by our signage.
If Traveling from North - Hokitika on State Highway 6 - (approximately 1 1/2 hours drive) . We are located 2 kilometer south of Lake Mapourika (3rd lake south of Hokitika). Turn left into first large entrance on the left hand side by our signage. We are located 2 kilometers south of Lake Mapourika.
